-CURRENT SITTUATION (Semi Fictional)

The Curent sittuation is as follows: (JFC MAP)
-Erwin Rommels Afrika Korps is waiting for vital resuplies
from Suda Bay, Crete, in order to continue the push to Alexandria.

Well dug in on the ground, the Luftwaffe is called to defend
the German temporary camps,
and destroy incoming Allied reenforcment releaf convoys,
heading in large numbers towards key positions.
-The Allied forces are called to defend their convoys,
their main village, and destroy as many
of the axis strongholds as posible.

-Air superiority will be the desisive factor in this stage of the war.

HISTORIC FACTS (Server Mission Backround)

North Afrikan Campaign

-The content of a 'top secret' message of field marshal Rommel
to the commanding officer of the Fortress Crete
fell on the hand of a branch of the intelligence service at Chania.

Rommel, who had advanced to El Alamein,
and stoped there to rehabilitate his forces
before the final attack in Alexandria,
was in urgent need of fuels, tanks, ammunition,
light automatic arms and cartriges.

The latters were of utmost importance
for the street combats he might be forced
to take in Alexandria. The message was clear:

- -

"Can not advance further due to lack
of sufficient stocks of fuels,
ammunition and light automatic arms.
Expect convoy soonest possible"

The Middle East Headquarters could not have
received a more valuable information during those crutial days.
They had 'first hand' information about the direct possibilities
and intettions of the enemy.

-British commander-in-chief Auchinleck,

was now more than confident that he had the time available
to reorganize the defeated 8th Army, the command of wich
he had personally undertaken, and sent the nessesary
reinforcment to the defence line at El Alamein, and keep it..
